The firm specializes in handling the Injury Claims and Criminal Defense with a concentration on OWI cases throughout Michigan. While Mr. Barrix has been sought out by clients throughout the State of Michigan he is primarily located in Grand Rapids, Michigan representing clients in all of West Michigan.

Mr. Barrix as an experienced litigator uses his years of trial experience and skills to help individuals against the government and/ or insurance companies. By being tenacious, fair and dedicated to the cause of justice Mr. Barrix has earned the respect of those who he represents and his colleagues alike.

Mr. Barrix Has helped his injury clients receive millions in compensation for their injury claims from insurance companies. Most notably where other lawyers have failed to get significant recoveries for these clients Mr. Barrix has taken over these claims and doubled recovery’s or gotten these matters resolved for $100,000 when other attorneys could not get offers. Many of these attorneys are well known T.V. lawyers. Great at marketing short on success.

Mr. Barrix is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s negligence Section and been a past member of both the American Trials Lawyers Association and the Michigan Attorneys for Justice (formerly Michigan Trial Lawyers Association).

Mr. Barrix has successfully handled criminal cases ranging from high profile murder to simple misdemeanors. Mr. Barrix concentrates his criminal practice in representing those accused of alcohol and drug cases.

Mr. Barrix is a member of the National College for DUI Defense He is also a member of the National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyer Criminal Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Criminal Law Section of the Michigan State Bar Association.
